Publishing under a Xerif's domain

This is the entry level in Xerif's publishing: using a xerif subdomain (i.e. myfirst-test.xerif.xyz). No domain costs included, faster service's deployment.

Available services under Xerif subdomains: XMail, XWeb, XServicedesk, XLocation, XCollab

When a customer needs a domain

There are two ways to deal with it:

- Xerif accompanies and guides the customer in a domain name's purchase: selecting any of the world-wide domain providers the customer selects the domain and pay for it, then Xerif adjusts the DNS settings / record creation to point to Xerif's private cloud's services /local - private environment. The customer has to be aware of the yearly subscription.

- Xerif can buy the domain on customer's behalf: Xerif makes the purchase, then deploys the needed settings / config, finallty the domain's cost is added to the next monthly invoice. Normally the domain costs are paid yearly, so Xerif will warn the customer prior to its expiration

If a customer has a domain purchased by Xerif and needs to leave

In that case Xerif will transfer the domain to a Domain provider's customer's account (previously made by the customer)

If a customer has a domain purchased by him/her self, has domain records pointing to Xerif's services and need to leave

In that case  the user simply re-configures the records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc) to the new services, no needed action on Xerif's side.
